அஃகாமை செல்வத்திற்கு யாதெனின் வெஃகாமை
வேண்டும் பிறன்கைப் பொருள்.
கலைஞர் உரை
தன்னுடைய செல்வச் செழிப்பு குறையாமலிருக்க வேண்டுமென்றால் பிறருடைய பொருளையும் தானே அடைய வேண்டுமென்று ஆசைப்படாமலிருக்க வேண்டும்
மு. வரதராசன் உரை
ஒருவனுடைய செல்வத்திற்குக் குறைவு நேராதிருக்க வழி எது என்றால், அவன் பிறனுடைய கைப்பொருளை விரும்பாதிருத்தலாகும்.
சாலமன் பாப்பையா உரை
செல்வம் குறையாமல் இருக்க வழி என்ன என்றால், பிறனுக்கு உரிய பொருளை விரும்பாமல் இருப்பதே.
பாரி மேலகர் உரை
பரிமேலழகர் உரை: செல்வத்திற்கு அஃகாமை யாதெனின் - சுருங்கல் மாலைத்தாகிய செல்வத்திற்குச் சுருங்காமைக் காரணம் யாது என்று ஒருவன் ஆராயின்; பிறன் வேண்டும் கைப்பொருள் வெஃகாமை - அது பிறன் வேண்டும் கைப்பொருளைத் தான் வேண்டாமையாம். ('அஃகாமை' ஆகுபெயர். வெஃகாதான் செல்வம் அஃகாது என்பதாயிற்று.).

மணக்குடவர் உரை: செல்வஞ் சுருங்காமைக்குக் காரண மியாதோவெனின், பிறன் வேண்டுங் கைப்பொருளைத் தான் வேண்டாமை, இது செல்வ மழியாதென்றது.
வி முனுசாமி உரை
திருக்குறளார் வீ. முனிசாமி உரை: செல்வமானது குறைந்து போகாமல் இருப்பதற்குக் காரணம் யாதென்று ஆராய்ந்தால், அது மற்றவனுக்கு உரிமையான பொருளினைத் தான் விரும்பாதிருத்தல் வேண்டும் என்பதாகும்.
