பரிமேலழகர் உரை: இகழ்ந்து எள்ளாது ஈவாரைக் காணின் - தம்மை அவமதித்து இழிவு சொல்லாது பொருள் கொடுப்பாரைக் கண்டால்; உள்ளம் மகிழ்ந்து உள்ளுள் உவப்பது உடைத்து - அவ்விரப்பாரது உள்ளம் மகிழ்ந்து உள்ளுள்ளே உவக்கும் தன்மையுடைத்து.
